Accessible Yoga From Chair only classes to Gentle mixed classes
Currently private classes only, but if I find a suitable room ...
'My breathing is so much easier'
Below is an example of chair and chair based class
All Classes begin with centring, seated mountain pose and the breath. The breath is vital. We all breath to live and mostly we are not aware we are doing it. Bring awareness to the breath can ‘improve’ how we breath but how we feel. We can use it to calm stress levels or to energise or improve our thinking.
Joint releasing is wonderful for keeping our joints moving. Gentle somatic yoga movements release tension and stiffness from fingertips to shoulders and toes to hips. This can be all seated or a bit of both. Some cross patterning moves engage both hemispheres of the brain helping to keep the brain agile.
Releasing the Centre - Somatic Movement releases the centre Releasing tension in the centre of the body, helps with breath, digestion and movement. As tension begins in the centre it also helps with shoulder and hip pain.
The Asanas or Yoga Poses Seated or Standing. A flow, such as Sun Salutation variation. Dynamic and still yoga asanas before closing with a balance.
Relaxation Floor or chair based Learning to relax releases tension and stress and brings great peace of mind.
Meditation – for calm, for clearer thinking, for pain relief and more…
A one minute meditation or it may be included in the relaxation.
